About Association

The ArtVivat! Association  (previous name: “Youth Brass-Band from Sieraków Wlkp.”) was founded in 2001 by a goup of people connected with „Youth Brass-Band of WARTA Glass Works in Sierkaków” (Founding Members). The initiators and mentors of the foundation of the organization and its continuance were Dorota and Wojciech Pawłowscy.

 

From the very beginning the organization was non-governmental in nature, and in 2005 it was granted the status of public benefit organization.

The Association manages the organization of the artistic, educational work for children and young people who attend musical and dancing groups within the Association.

 

The Association helps to develop artistic talents and organizes extra-school individual and group activities in music theory, singing and dancing as well as teaching playing brass instruments for 120 children and young people.

Mission

The ArtVivat! Association was founded in order to develop educational activities addressed to children and young people in the following areas:

  • propagation and popularization of the musical art and culture

  • making it possible for young people to develop skills in playing musical instruments and dancing

  • community assistance, helping children and young people from families with difficult financial and social situation, equaling chances for children and young people by facilitating their artistic education and development of their musical and dancing interests.

  • orgaznization of leisure time for children and young people

  • supervision of children and young people and participation in their education, especially by arranging musical and dancing activities

  • cultivation of national traditions, Polishness and rising national, civil and cultural awareness, especially by popularizing of musical achievements of the city, region and country

  • supporting the development of the local community as well as the region of the Międzychodzko-Sierakowskie Lakeland in Poland and abroad

  • supporting European integration and the development of inter-community relations, especially by participating in European and international orchestra festivals for children and young people.

ACTIVITY

The ArtVivat! Association  manages the organization of the artistic, educational work for children and young people who attend musical and dancing groups within the Association.

Transformation of the Brass Band into a Youth Brass Band

Patronage over the Band by the Association “Youth Brass Band from Sieraków Wlkp.”
